There is something special about the classic hexagonal wooden pencils we've all grown up knowing so well. For some of us, the fascination with them never faded.
Penchi is the first shop focusing only on creating beautiful visuals on pencils using the hot-foil stamping method. Our designs play around with various placements, multiple foil finishes, and layering, which require patience and precision.
Every Penchi pencil set is crafted with a whole lot of love. :)

What makes Penchi pencils special?
Pencil blanks made in the USA
Our pencil blanks are from Musgrave Pencil Company located in Shelbyville, Tennessee. It's a family-owned business for over 100 years. One of only three remaining American producers of pencils! Their sharp hexagonal edges provide the most surface area for designs.
Unique and detailed designs
Every Penchi pencil set first starts with an idea, and then has to be precisely designed to work well on the tiny pencil surface area. These designs are then turned into small brass dies that fit our machine.
Carefully hot-stamped by hand
Our dies are warmed up and pressed onto pencils with hot foil in between. Our small-batch process means the possibilities are endless with unique placements and using multiple foils on one pencil.
Our "Penchi" brand mark on each one
Every Penchi pencil has our brand logo stamped on the bottom. This creates the ceremonial routine of sharpening away the logo when you begin the journey of putting your pencil to work.
Cute boxes with metallic accents
Our beautiful pencils come with equally beautiful boxes that feature shiny metallic artwork on the front and the back.
Always front-facing design
Unlike other pencil packaging, Penchi created a little 3D printed sleeve that keeps the pencils snug, preventing them from rotating in the box. This means the design is always facing correctly, and will always give a perfect first impression.
